MDS 120 JORDAN

We did it! πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸœοΈ

Finishing the MARATHON DES SABLES 120 Jordan with MISSION I.A.M. sensor package, developed by students and researchers from Robotics Centre University of Twente!

120 km through the stunning (and hot and tough) terrain of the Jordanian Wadi Rum desert! An incredible experience with my brother Eelko van Roon, and an important step toward our long-term goal: developing a bionic leg capable of running the world’s toughest ultramarathons.

Stay tuned - more (and more elaborate) reports to follow!

(And yes I have blisters, big ones. And no, I won’t show pictures…here)
